Distribution. China: Xizang ( Kaszab, 1940; Egorov, 2008); India ( Egorov, 2008); Nepal ( Egorov, 2008).

Remarks. This species was redescribed by Liu et al. (2015) based on 10 specimens (3♂♂, 3♀♀ in MCWNU and 2♂♂, 2♀♀ in MRCSPU, identified by Egorov) from Coqên County, Xizang, China. After the examination of type specimens of this species and 6 specimens in Liu et al. (2015), as well as specimens from Coqên County, Xi- zang in MHBU, specimens from Coqên County belonging to a new species (see diagnosis of B. subcarinata ).
