Distribution. China: Qinghai ( Kaszab, 1940; Meng & Ren, 2005; Egorov, 2008).
Remarks. Myatis brevipilosum was synonymized with B. micans by Egorov (2006a). After the examination of type specimens of B. micans , Myatis brevipilosum and B. rubripes , as well as additional specimens, Myatis brevipilosum should be transferred to the junior synonym of B. rubripes herein. Indication of the species for Xizang of China ( Egorov, 2008), in our opinion, is erroneous.
