Type material examined. Holotype of Aemene zolotuhini : “ 14–19.III.2012 | Central Vietnam, Gia Lai Prov. | K'Bang Distr., Dak Roong | Comm., vill. Kon Loc , Kon Ka | Kinh NP, 14°42.602' N 108° | 39.062' E, 1050m | V. Zolotuhin leg.” / red label “ Holotype | Aemene zolotuhini | Dubatolov & Bucsek, 2016 ” ( SZMN) .

Additional material examined. Series of both sexes from Laos (Xaignabouli Province) and Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai and Uthai Thani Provinces ) ( CAV, CKC, MWM / ZSM) .

Remark. This species is quite widespread, and the holotype of Aemene zolotuhini displays no recognisable differences from the original illustrations of S. punctata ( Fang 2000) therefore the new synonymy is hereby introduced.

Diagnosis. The forewing length is 10.0–11.0 mm in males and 11.0– 11.5 mm in females. The species is characterised and diagnosed by Dubatolov & Bucsek (2016, as Aemene zolotuhini ).

Distribution. China (Yunnan) ( Fang 2000), Thailand (Chiang Mai and Uthai Thani Provinces) ( Černý & Pinratana 2009, as Aemene punctigera ), Laos (Xaignabouli Province) (new record), and Vietnam (Gia Lai and Ninh Binh Provinces) ( Dubatolov & Bucsek 2016, as Aemene zolotuhini ).
