Type locality
Green Point, Pearl Beach, New South Wales, Australia (33 ◦ 32 ′ 36 ′′ S, 151 ◦ 18 ′ 30 ′′ E).
Material examined
Lord Howe Island . 10+ specimens AM P.78493, Old Gulch (31 ◦ 30 ′ 48 ′′ S, 159 ◦ 02 ′ 48 ′′ E), lower sides of lower littoral boulders among algae, sediment on rock face, by hand on SCUBA , coll. G.D. Fenwick, 17 May 1977 ( LHA 48 ); 22 specimens, AM P.78492, between Comet Hole and Reef (31 ◦ 32 ′ 10 ′′ S, 159 ◦ 04 ′ E), 2–3 m, red and brown algae with some coral, coll. J.K. Lowry, 10 May 1977 ( LHA 11 ) .
