Diagnosis. This new species is similar to T. conjuncta in the male genitalia by having a distally bifurcate uncus, but it can be distinguished by the valva has a narrowly elongate triangular harpe, and the triangular juxta without a lateral lobe. In T. conjuncta , the valva lacks a harpe, and the basally sub-square juxta is deeply concave in broad U shape.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 4 – 13 ) wingspan 26.0–28.0 mm. Frons white mixed with pale reddish fuscous, vertex reddish fuscous mixed with black. Male labial palpus with first segment black mixed with reddish fuscous and white, about 1/3 length of second; second segment exceeding vertex apically, inner side greyish green on basal half, white on distal half, with long white mixed with grey hair-like scales, outer side black, slender; third segment white on inner side, with white hair-like scales, black on outer side, tapering, about 1/4 length of second. Male maxillary palpus compressed and short, white on inner side, black on outer side. Male antenna with ventral surface yellowish fuscous, carrying short pale grey cilia, length about equal to diameter of antenna; dorsal surface white, with black annulations. Thorax black, mixed with grey; tegula grey mixed with pale reddish fuscous and black. Forewing fuscous, basal area pale greyish green along costal margin, median area with dense black scales; costal margin with a black rectangular patch at middle; antemedian line black, arched outward, from middle of lower margin of cell extending to middle of dorsum, besides its inner margin set a diffused black triangular dorsal patch, besides its outer margin set a small white dorsal spot; postmedian line black, extending from distal 1/3 of costal margin oblique outward to CuA1; discal and discocellular spots represented by a fuscous tuft mixed with black, discocellular spot smaller and indistinct; cell with a black tuft at middle on lower margin, mixed with fuscous on its outside edge; terminal line yellowish white, evenly spaced uniform fuscous rectangular spots formed by interruption of yellowish white dots on veins, with evenly spaced sub-rounded greyish white spots along inner side of rectangular spots to tornus; cilia grey, interrupted with black on extension of veins. Hindwing grey, nearly black on termen; cilia rather short, grey. Legs white on inner side, differently colored on outer side: fore leg with femur white and bearing dense greyish green scales, tibia white mixed with black and reddish fuscous; mid leg with femur white mixed with black and reddish fuscous, tibia white with dense greyish green scales, with long white mixed with pale fuscous hair-like scales; hind leg black, white mixed with black on femur distally and on basal half of tibia; tarsus black, with each tarsomere white at apex. Abdomen earthy yellow, mixed with fuscous scales.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 14 – 19 ). Uncus narrowed medially, bifurcate from middle, forming two oblique outward lobes, rounded at apex. Gnathos medially extending backward, parallel laterally, straight on posterior margin, roundly produced at posterolateral corner; lateral arm wide, arched outward, with sub-rounded process extending from its base, bearing long dense setae apically. Valva rhomboid, with a large broad lingulate process at base carrying sparse short hairs; terminal margin straight, with sparse long setae; costa narrowly banded, reaching before apex of valva, with an apical spine; elongate triangular harpe extending from basal 1/4 below costa to distal 1/5 where it joined with costa, narrowed, basally concave and with dense short setae; sacculus wide at base, slightly narrowed to before middle, then distinctly narrowed to ventral corner of valva. Juxta triangular, bulged longitudinally along central line on distal half, obtuse posteriorly. Saccus elongate triangular, narrowed to rounded apex. Aedeagus straight, slender, about 1.5 times length of valva, strongly sclerotized on distal 1/4; cornuti composed of a bunch of spines of varying length and size.

Female unknown.

Distribution. China (Hainan).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin nigri- and macularis, referring to the diffused black triangular patch on the dorsum of the forewing.
