Zaglyptogastra seminigra View in CoL is also known from Kenya and Tanzania. The record from Egypt ( FAHRINGER 1926: 188) should be checked, because Zaglyptogastra nigra View in CoL (SZEPLIGETI, 1913) is only recorded from the Palaearctic ( Egypt, Yemen) region ( QUICKE 1991: 755).
