Diagnosis: This species is only known from the female. It can be distinguished from other Anthidium species by T6 with deep semicircle median emargination on distal margin ( Fig. 36g ), apical margin of clypeus finely serrate, projected downward medially ( Fig. 36c ).

Material examined: China, Xizang: Zanda Xian, Diyamayang (31º24′N, 79º48′E), 3500 m, 1 ♀ (holotype), 29. VI .1976, leg, Fu-Sheng HUANG .

Type locality. China: Xizang: Zanda (Zada) Xian, Diyamayang .

Distribution: China (Xizang).

Floral association: unknown.

Subgenus Anthidium (Proanthidium) Friese, 1898

Diagnosis: Proanthidium s. str. can be distinguished from subgenus Anthidium s. str. by the posterior margin of the scutellum rounded, without a spine laterally, and distinctly overhanging metanotum and propodeum.
