Male. Body small. Fastigium verticis narrower than scapus, lateral margins almost parallel. Pronotum short, sellaeformis, anterior margin slightly protruding, posterior margin comparatively straight, lateral lobe long equal to high, humeral sinus absent. Prosternum bispinose. Anterior coxa with a spine. Tibial tympanal organ conchate on both sides. Anterior and medial tibiae with 6 pairs of spines on ventral margins, posttibia with 20–23 spines on internal and external sides of dorsal margin. All femora without spines on ventral margin. Tegmen short, reaching posterior margin of first abdominal tergite. Tenth abdominal tergite protruding afterwards, broad at base, apical half narrow, apex short lamella-shaped in dorsal view, subtruncated in lateral view, with middle longitudinal sulcus. Cerci comparatively long, slightly curved, apex faintly extended, with a middle and a basal inner spines. Subgenital plate broad in base, apex narrow, posterior margin straight, with densely hairs, middle area membranous, with a pair of styles on lateral apices.

Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Vertex with triangular longitudinal stripe. Eyes brown. Pronotum green, with a pair of black longitudinal stripes on disc, posterior apices of the stripes widened, area between longitudinal stripes brown. Spines of all tibiae on ventral margin dark brown, third tarsus of anterior, medial and posterior tarsi brown. R vein area blackish brown. Both sides of abdominal tergites with a pair of parellel blackish brown stripes.
Female. unknown.
Measurement (in mm). Body: ♂ 11.5; Pronotum: ♂ 2.5; Tegmen: ♂ 1.5; Hind femur: ♂ 9.
Type material. Holotype: male, China: Dongchuan , Yunnan Province, 2 Aug. 2006. 1940m, collected by Ou X-H.
Remarks. This new species is allied to Conanalus robustus sp. nov., but it is different from the latter in: apex of tenth abdominal tergite of male with a pair of short valvate-shaped processes in dorsal view; cerci comparatively long, slightly curved, apex faintly extended, with a middle and a basal inner spines.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. This new specific name is derived from male tenth abdominal tergite.
