TYPE LOCALITY. — Venezuela, Caño Acoima, Delta Amacuro.

DISTRIBUTION. — Widespread in Amazonia.

TAXONOMIC REMARKS. — The populations in French Guiana unambiguously belong to the nominal species.

HABITAT IN MITARAKA. — Males were heard along the Alama creek but could not be collected.
