TYPE LOCALITY. — Venezuela, Bolivar, Quebrada Jaspe.

DISTRIBUTION. — Widespread in Amazonia.

TAXONOMIC REMARKS. — The populations from French Guiana unambiguously belong to the nominal species.

HABITAT IN MITARAKA. — Calling males were heard along the Alama creek.

MATERIAL EXAMINED. — La Planète Revisitée Guyane 2015, MNHN-PNI, APA973-1: AF2767 (♂); AF2829 (?) .
