Hagrides blackburni ( Lameere, 1903) View in CoL
( Figs. 9 View Figure 9 A–E, 17F View Figure 17 )
Cnemoplites (Cnemoplites) blackburni Lameere, 1903a: 41 View in CoL . TL: Albany. Lectotype in BNHM (designated here).
Hagrides blackburni: Jin et al. 2020: 19 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. H. blackburni can be separated from H. princeps by its completely punctate pronotum with the median smooth shiny area completely absent. Male distinctiveness is also supported by very lightly pubescent tarsi, the abdominal setal patch smaller and the penis with longer apical sclerotised part. Female is distinguished from H. princeps by the ovipositor with rounded distal gonocoxal apices. It can be separated from H. mandibularis by having shorter mandibles, the male abdominal ventrite 5 with transverse carinae ( Fig. 9D View Figure 9 ) and the tegmen with longer parameres while the female is distinguished by the longer distal gonocoxites.
Type. Lectotype designated here: the female specimen ( BNHM- 010799923) deposited in BNHM with the following labels “ Albany, 8658 | Cnemoplites blackburni Lameere ♀ cotype” .
