Report as epibiont on oligochaetes: This species was found as an epibiont attached to Oligochaeta collected from the underwater canal of the Balaklava Bay (the Black Sea) at a depth of 5.8 m ( Sergeeva et al. 2022).
Remarks: This species was originally isolated from Departure Bay, Vancouver (Wailes 1928; Warren & Payenter 1991). Also, its name was mentioned in the list of ciliates in the Baltic Sea ( Mironova 2014).
