The nesoclera View in CoL -group
Diagnostic characters. This group is defined by the combinations of following characters in male: the stout and slightly appressed segment III of the labial palpus, the abundant coremata placed interior of the abdomen, the strongly sclerotized uncus with spine-like setae, the absence of the culcitula, dorsally furrowed gnathos and the slender saccus. Female genitalia are characterized by the sclerotized abdominal segment VII and the tergum VIII with a distinctively large and strongly sclerotized process.
Remarks. The forewing pattern resembles those of the guerinii -group and the grandiunca -group, but the markings are somewhat reduced.
