TL: Kangra , Himachal Pradesh, India. Holotype (♀).

TD: NHMUK.

Distribution in India. NW Himalaya, Kangra, Shimla, Kullu ( Strand 1920b); Himalaya, Andamans ( Holloway 2003).

Elsewhere. Nepal ( Inoue 1998); Myanmar, Borneo, Australia ( Holloway 2003); Thailand ( László et al. 2010).

Host plant. Rhizophora (Rhizophoraceae) ( Robinson et al. 2001).

Remarks. Records of Nola squalida Staudinger, 1870 Madagascar, Tropical India, Sri lanka, China, Taiwan, Java and Brisbane probably belong to other species and should be checked. ( Fibiger et al. 2009)
