Baeoentedon Girault, 1915: 190 View in CoL . Type-species: Baeoentedon peculicornis Girault View in CoL ; by monotypy.
Diagnosis. Female. Vertexal sulcus present, extending from eye margin behind lateral ocellus and marking occipital edge. Antennal flagellum 6-segmented with 2 anelli, a single funicle segment, and 3-segmented clava. Pronotum reduced and not visible in dorsal view; mesoscutum with notauli not indicated, with one or two pairs of setae; axillae almost smooth, small, narrow and strongly advanced forwards; scutellum with a single pair of setae; propodeum short, broad and noncarinate, with a small pit medial to spiracle which contains several sensilla. Gaster sessile, short and broad. Fore wing with long stigmal vein, 1 seta on submarginal vein.
Male. Body colour and morphological characters similar to female, except shape of genitalia.
Host. Aleyrodidae (Hemiptera) .
Distribution. Australia, China, India, Indonesia.
