Xistra wuyishanensis View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figure 2 View Figure 2 )
Female
Size small, slender. Head protruding above pronotum. Width of vertex slightly narrower than width of eye, anterior margin slightly arched, not protruding before eyes, lateral margin turned backward, midkeel conspicuous. In frontal view, vertex forming “U”-shaped concavity, lateral margin not beyond upper margin of eyes. In profile, vertex not protruding before eyes, frontal ridge between antennae arched, distinctly protruding. Lateral margin of longitudinal furrow of frontal ridge nearly parallel, width of which slightly narrower than first segment of antennae. Antennae filiform, long and thin, inserted far below lower margin of eyes, 15-segmented, length of a segment in middle about 5–6 times longer than its width. Eyes globose, exserted. lateral ocelli placed in between lower margins of eyes. Pronotum slender, disc of pronotum with small particles. Anterior margin of pronotum straight, midkeel completely conspicuous. In profile, upper margin forming two hill-shaped projections before shoulders, posterior one large than the anterior one, straight after shoulders. Lateral keels of prozona parallel, lateral margin gradually constricted backward after shoulders. With a pair of long, oblique, longitudinal keels between shoulders. Hind process long, cone-shaped, reaching top of hind tibia. Lateral lobes slightly turned outward, hind margin with two concavities, top of hind angle rounded and slightly truncate. Tegmina long oval, top rounded, reticulate veins conspicuous, width of tegmina about 1.5 times width of mid femur. Hind wing developed, slightly surpassing top of hind process, reaching top of hind tibia. Fore and mid femora slender, upper and lower margins straight, width of mid femur narrower than width of tegmina. Hind femur stout, antegenicular and genicular denticles rectangle. Outer side of hind tibia with four spines, inner side with four spines. Length of first segment of posterior tarsi nearly equal to third segment, the first and second pulvilli smaller, the third pulvillus bigger, all apices obtuse. Ovipositor slender, length four times longer than width of upper valve, dorsal and ventral valves with fine teeth. Length of subgenital plate nearly equal to width, middle of hind margin of subgenital plate with a long triangular process.
Colouration. Body dark brown. Antennae black-brown. Tegmina dark brown, reticulate veins with light colour. Hind wing black. Anterior femur and tibia with two black rings. Mid femur and tibia with two black rings. Upper and outside of hind femur with three black rings, top black, lower side black. Base of hind tibia black, top yellow-brown. Tops of second and third hind tarsi black. Ventral thorax and abdomen black-brown.
