Material examined. 29 specimens from two meters downstream from a large spring near the Echi River, Shiga Prefecture, N 35 º 12 ’ 13.4 ”, E 136 º 10 ’ 10.5 ”, 12 January 2006. All material collected by the author.
Remarks. This species is widespread in Japan, found in rice fields and Lake Biwa ( Okubo 1990; Smith & Janz 2008).
