Previous records. described for Breid Bay ( Princess Ragnhild Coast) (275–289 m). Diagnosis. Close to L. sagitta but carapace much longer than the first four free thoracic segments combined

(equal in length in L. sagitta ) and with a distinct large ocular lobe. New records. Morphometric measurements: Antenna 1: relative length of peduncle articles 1 to 3: 41/29/30; maxilliped 3: B/ R ratio 1.5, relative length of articles I to D: 9/24/29/20/18; pereiopod 1: broken off after basis; pereiopod 2: B/ R ratio 0.8, relative length of articles I to D: 4/21/26/16/33; pereiopod 3: B/ R ratio 1.1, relative length of articles I to D: 18/31/25/18/8; pereiopod 4: B/ R ratio 1.2, relative length of articles I to D: 16/24/40/16/4; pereiopod 5: B/ R ratio 0.7, relative length of articles I to D: 14/23/37/19/7. Uropod measurements: pleotelson length to width: 1.2; pleotelson 0.8 times as long as uropod peduncle; uropod endopod shorter than exopod; uropod endopod basal to distal article: 2.0 .
