“ Lycaena orbitulus rebeli ssp. n. ” ( Tuleschkow 1932: 101–105, 114–115). Type locality: “[transliterated from Cyrillic] pl. Ali-Botush, mezhdu varhovete Tsarev vr. (2200) i Ali-Botush (2100), kakto i po samite tiya varhove” [Mount Alibotush (Slavyanka): between, and on, Tsarev and Gotsev peaks: 2100–2200 m], originally designated ( Tuleschkow 1932: 101).

There is an error in the number of specimens of the type series. Tuleschkow (1932: 101, 114) reported 7 ♂♂ and 3 ♀♀; later on page 115 “ Typen: 2 ♂♂ und 1 ♀ ”. The specimens stored in the museum are 6 ♂♂ and 4 ♀♀. Being a junior primary homonym of Lycaena alcon rebeli Hirschke, 1905 , Lycaena orbitulus rebeli Tuleschkow, 1932 is not a valid name. A replacement name, kudrnai, was proposed by Koçak (1980: 142). Currently this taxon must be cited as Agriades pyrenaicus kudrnai Koçak, 1980 .
