Zanchius breviceps (misidentification): Linnavuori (2004: 93), Linnavuori (2009: 27). Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan, Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2010; Aukema et al. 2013: holotype from Gurband). General distribution. Endemic to the coastal region of the Persian Gulf in Iran (Linnavuori 2010).
