Gonostylus slender, eventually narrowed towards apex, with impression on apicomesial part; setosity dense at apex, with 10–16 straight megasetae subequal in size that scattered in the impression. Tegmen wider than long. Sternite 10 with 1–2 setae on each half. N = 15 for all measurements.
Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangxi, Guizhou, Taiwan , Yunnan, Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ).
Remarks. By the gonostylus, this new species is similar to D. oxyacantha sp. nov. ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ), D. megumiae and D. ninae , and the diagnosis is under the former species.
Etymology. This species is named after its gonostylus having an apicomesially impression, which looks like a ditch, from the Latin adjective scrobiculatus, meaning ditch.
