Brazil, Amazonas, Manaus , 30–31 October 1982, P .F. Buhrnheim et al. (legs.) (4 m #, CZPB) ; Brazil, São Paulo, Bauru , January 2020, M . Bento (leg.) (1 m #, INPA); idem, but December 2020 (1 f#, INPA) .

New records

Previously recorded only from Peru. Specimens from Amazonas and São Paulo states represent the first record of this species in Brazil.

Description of male aedeagus ( Figure 2 (g)). Tegmen subquadrate and strongly emarginate at base; apex sparsely setose; apical angles glabrous and rounded. Parameres large, divided into two rounded lobes; apexes glabrous, narrowly rounded and broadly separated from each other; surface covered with moderately long basal setae.
