TYPE SPECIES: Sciurus murinus Müller and Schlegel, 1844 View in CoL .

COMMENTS: Tribe Callosciurini ; closely related to Sundasciurus (see Heaney, 1985). Reviewed by Moore (1958), who transferred leucomus from Callosciurus to this genus.
