TYPE LOCALITY: "in Africa." Restricted by Thomas (1911a: 149) to "Barbary;" and by Cabrera (1932:217) to Agadir, Morocco .

DISTRIBUTION: Grand and Middle Atlas south to Agadir and N edge of Sahara ( Morocco), NW Algeria.

SYNONYMS: praetextus Wagner, 1842; trivittatus ( Gray, 1842); see Corbet (1978c:79).
