There is one paratype in NFIC with five labels. Label 1: White label with collection locality '( INDIA: Karnataka), Coorg , Fraserpet ; 26.vii.1930 ; collected by FRI Sandal Insect Survey'. Label 2: Small white label with '418'. Label 3: White label ' Aetheomorpha coorgensis Bryant (hand written), GE Bryant det.'. Label 4: Yellow bordered white circular label stating 'Cotype'. Label 5: Yellow label with printed 'Cotype'.

Remarks: Antennae are broken. In the original description, there is no mention of the number of type specimens or their depository. However, two specimen numbers, '417' and '418', on labels are mentioned.. In NFIC, specimen bearing the number '418' is present with details as mentioned above. Specimen no. '417' is perhaps designated as type and deposited somewhere else.
