There is one paratype in NFIC with five labels- Label 1: White label stating collection locality '( INDIA: Tamil Nadu), North Salem , Ayur ; 1.vi.1930 ; collected by FRI Sandal Insect Survey'. Label 2: Small white label with number '421'. Label 3: White label—' Aspidolopha nigrocurvilinea Bryant (hand written), GE Bryant det.' Label 4: Yellow bordered white circular label stating 'Cotype'. Label 5: Yellow label with printed 'Cotype'.

Remarks: Right antenna with scape only. Right fore leg with all tarsomeres missing.

Comments: In the original description there is no clear mention either about number of specimens on which the species is described or their depository. But in the data there is mention of three numbers—'419, 420 and 421'' which are number mentioned on labels of specimens. In NFIC specimen bearing the number '421' is present with details as mentioned above. Specimen no. '419 and 420 are perhaps designated as type and cotype and deposited elsewhere.
