The genus Nenteria was placed in the family Nenteriidae View in CoL by Hirschmann (1979) with no diagnosis or description for the family. This family was never described and its name remains a nomen nudum ( Halliday 2016). Thus, genus Nenteria is here placed in the family Trematuridae View in CoL following Karg (1989) and Mašán (2001).
Diagnosis. The family diagnosis of Abo-Shnaf et al. (2018) was followed.
