Apterogyna olivieri Latreille, 1809: 122 , ♀, ♂ (Arabia); Pagliano 2002: 88, ♂, ♀ ( Saudi Arabia, West Washa).
Material examined. Egypt: 1♀, Giza, VII. 1922 (coll. Innes Bey).
Distribution. Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Western Sahara, Syria, Tunisia, Chad, Mali ( Argaman 1994, Pagliano 2002).
Remarks. Female: head, antenna, mandible basally, mesosoma, legs, and metasomal segment 1 orange to red, other metasoma bright ferruginous. Metasomal pale fasciae resemble that of A. mateui (Fig. 3). T6 see Fig. 4.
