Thorax brown. Mid and hind legs dark brown, fore leg brown. Fore tibia with 13 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing length 1.03 mm. Left surstylus ( Figs. 17A, D View FIGURES 17 ) thin basally and broad apically, axe-shaped, with 3 inner teeth on basidorsal corner and 6 inner teeth on apical dorsal corner. Right surstylus ( Figs. 17B, E View FIGURES 17 ) long banded, expanded apically and slightly bilobular, the upper-dorsal lobe with 3 inner teeth.

Female. Unknown.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word securiclatus (axe-shaped), indicating the shape of left surstylus.

Specimens examined. Holotype, ♂, Yunnan, Menglun , 21-Apr-2007, Hongwei Chen.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Remarks. The species can be distinguished from all other species of the genus by the axe-shaped left surstylus and the bilobular right surstylus. In the keys of Disney (1990) and Michailovskaya (2000), the species will not run out to any species.
