Record associated with mangroves: West Coast Park, Singapore, mangrove area, Bostrychia mats (Ceramialis, Rhodophyta) on pneumatophores of Avicennia sp.; Pulau Ubin, Chek Jawa, Singapore, seaward edge of mangrove, epibios (mainly Ceramialis, Rhodophyta) on pneumatophores of Sonneratia sp. ( Sonneratiaceae ) ( Bartsch 2015).
Records from other habitats: North-eastern Australia. Tidal to subtidal algae ( Otto 1999). Amity point, north Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia, among small hydrozoans and bryozoans on stones, mid tide level ( Bartsch 2008).
Distribution: Australia, Singapore.
