Subgenus: Elachista ; bifasciella species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland.
Larval host plant(s): Melica nutans L., M. uniflora Retz. (Poaceae) ( Frey 1885, Larsen 1927, Buszko 1990a).
