Elachista deresyensis Traugott-Olsen, 1988: 308 View in CoL . Type locality: Turkey [as Syria], Shar Deresy ( Traugott-Olsen 1988: 308). Holotype ♂, in NHMUK.
Subgenus: Aphelosetia ; dispilella View in CoL species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Turkey.
Larval host plant(s): unknown.
Figs.: Traugott-Olsen (1988); Kaila (2015b).
Remarks: Kaila (1999a: 1965) synonymized E. deresyensis with E. galactitella Eversmann [as galacticella ] without supporting evidence. This synonymy was shown unjustified by Kaila (2015b).
