Type specimen: female; type locality: Baishanzu, Qingyuan, Zhejiang; location of type specimen: Shanghai Entomological Museum.
Male (new description). Body small. Head. Face slightly oblique. Fastigium verticis conical, apex obtusely rounded, dorsal surface with a thin furrow ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ). Eyes nearly semiglobular, projecting outwards. Apical segments of maxillary palpi longer than subapical ones, apices slightly inflated. Pronotum. Anterior margin straight, posterior margin narrowly rounded; lateral lobes longer than deep, narrowing to backward, humeral sinus absent ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ). Wings. Tegmina overlapped and concealed beneath pronotum, or slightly surpassing the posterior margin of pronotum, reaching the middle area of fifth abdominal tergite; hind wings absent ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ). Legs. Procoxae with 1 spine. Ventral surfaces of protibiae and mesotibiae with 4 internal and external spines, apices with 1 pair of spines; protibial tympana long ovate, opened on both sides, the internal one slightly larger than the external. Hind legs absent ( Fig. 5C View FIGURE 5 ). Abdomen. Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite with rounded concave. Cerci straight, base stout, narrowing from basal to apical area, the internal margin of basal areas with 1 small round lobe, the interno-dorsal margin of middle areas obliquely truncate, internal margin of subapical areas with 1 small rectangular lobe, apices obtuse. Subgenital plate slightly narrowing from basal to apical area, the lateral margins curved dorsally, posterior margin with a rounded concavity. Styli slender, nearly cylindrical, apices obtuse, inserted at the ventral margin of subgenital plate on each side ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ).
Female. Appearance similar to male. Posttibiae with 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ). Posterior margin of ninth abdominal tergite concave, ninth abdominal tergite rounded concave, tenth abdominal tergite short with faintly concave ( Fig. 6C View FIGURE 6 ). Cerci stout, conical ( Fig. 6E View FIGURE 6 ). Ovipositor short, slightly upcurved, base stout, narrowing to apex, the apices of dorsal valvulae acute and the ventral ones with 1 small hook ( Fig. 6J, K View FIGURE 6 ). Subgenital plate transverse, ventral surface faintly concave in middle, basal margin arched concave, the lateral margins of basal area rectangular extension; middle area terminating; posterior margin with a small concavity, the lateral lobes obtuse on both sides ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ).
Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Internal margins of antennal sockets dark brown; internal margins of scapes and pedicelli light dark brown, flagellums with black rings. Disc of head with 4 longitudinal dark brown stripes, between stripes yellowish brown. Dorsal surface of pronotum blackish or blackish brown, with 1 longitudinal black stripe on each side which extending to the middle area of the metazona. Apices of mesofemora blackish brown, apices of genicular lobes black. All spines of protibiae dark brown. Dorsal surface of abdominal tergites with 1 longitudinal dark brown stripe along the midline. In some specimens, the longitudinal stripe light brown with lateral margins black or brown.

Discussion. The species is similar to Phlugiolopsis henryi and Phlugiolopsis yaeyamensis by: male cerci straight, slightly narrowing to the apex. The main differences are as follows: male cerci with 1 small round lobe at the interno-dorsal margin of basal area, and the internal margin of subapical area with 1 small rectangular lobe; in Phlugiolopsis henryi , three-fifths of male cerci with 1 broad and flat obtuse tooth, but Phlugiolopsis yaeyamensis without any process or lobe, apex depressed.
