Ashmeadiella (Ashmeadiella) femorata (Michener, 1936) View in CoL

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ 16.09 km east of Borrego Valley , California, USA; June 15, 1933]

Ashmeadiella femorata occurs in the southwestern USA and the BCP, Mexico. Within the BCP, it was previously collected in the Lower Colorado Desert in April 1976 by the BBSL. The BBPT collected this species in the Central Desert, BC in March 2021 (1 ♀), and the Magdalena Plains in March 2021 (1 ♀), constituting a new species record for BCS. Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 239 .
