[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Muir Woods , Marin Co., California, USA; May 9, 1920]

Within BC, Osmia nemoris had only been reported in the Baja California Mountains in May 1981 by BBSL ( GBIF 2023 View Materials ). The BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in April 2021 (1 ♂), May 2021 (1 ♀), and May 2022 (1 ♀); and Chaparral in April 2021 (1 ♀, 1 ♂), April 2022 (1 ♂); and May 2022 (2 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 263 .
