[ Lectotype: USNM; ♂ Olympia , Washington, USA; June 1, 1896]

Osmia odontogaster occurs along the west coast of North America from southern British Columbia, Canada to the Baja California Mountains, Mexico. We reviewed two males collected in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in June 1953 ( CASC). The BBPT collected this species in Sierra San Pedro Mártir in July 2021 (2 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 265 .
