Hesperapis (Panurgomia) fuchsi (Viereck, 1909) View in CoL

[ Holotype: USNM; ♀ Prescott , Arizona, USA]

Hesperapis fuchsi occurs in the southwestern USA and northwestern Mexico. We reviewed one specimen collected in the Central Desert in April 2008 (1 ♂) . The BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in April 2022 (1 ♀) , Chaparral (3 ♀) , and Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez in May 2022 (2 ♀) , and Lower Colorado Desert in February 2020 (1 ♀) . Voucher specimens are in BBSL, ECOAB, and MABC. See fig. 272 .
