Osmia lignaria View in CoL is widely distributed in the USA and northwestern Mexico. This species is a managed pollinator for orchard crops Bosch and Kemp (2000). Within BC, this species has only been collected in the Coastal Sage Matorral in Ensenada City in April 1973 by BBSL ( GBIF 2023). See fig. 267.
