[ Lectotype: ANSP; ♀ California, USA]

Anthidium palliventre inhabits the coastal dunes from Oregon, USA, to BC, Mexico ( Gonzalez & Griswold 2013). Within BC, it has been collected in Coastal Dunes of the Coastal Sage Matorral ( UCRC). The BBPT collected this species in Succulent Coastal Matorral at Punta Mazo coastal dunes in April 2023 (6 ♂, 2 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC (3 ♂, 1♀), and ECOAB (3 ♂, 1♀). See fig. 198 .
