[ Syntypes: ANSP; ♀ ♂ Bosque Co.; Comal Co. ; Texas, USA]

Within the BCP Stelis costalis has only been recorded in southern BCS. There are preserved specimen records from the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland by UCRC ( SCAN 2023) and Gulf Coast by SEMC ( GBIF 2023). The CARCIB team collected one specimen in the Magdalena Plains in October 2017. See fig. 206.
