Within the BCP, M. coquilletti has been previously reported in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra San Pedro Máritr ( BBSL). The BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in May 2022 (1 ♀), Chaparral in August 2020 (1 ♂), and the Baja California Mountains at La Rumorosa in September 2021 (1 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 223 .
