Megachile (Litomegachile) lippiae Cockerell, 1900 View in CoL

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ La Cueva, Organ mountains , New Mexico, USA]

Megachile lippiae is widely distributed in Mexico and the USA. We examined one male collected in the Baja California Mountains in March 1967 ( EMEC). The BBPT collected this species in the Coastal Sage Matorral in June 2020 (2 ♀) , Chaparral in August 2020 (1 ♀), Baja California Mountains in August 2020 (1 ♂) , and May 2022 (1 ♂); and Gulf Coast in March 2021 (1 ♂). Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 224 .
