Townsendiella pulchra View in CoL is found in the southwestern USA and northwestern Mexico. Linsley (1943) reported its presence (1 ♀) in the Lower Colorado Desert 20 mi south Palacio, BC. This species is a brood parasite, and the host is Hesperapis larreae View in CoL ( Rozen & McGinley 1991, Orr & Griswold 2015). See fig. 142.
