[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Guaymas , Sonora, Mexico; April 15, 1921]

Colletes perileucus inhabits the xeric regions of the southwestern USA and northern Mexico. Stephen (1954) reported this species in the Lower Colorado Desert. We reviewed two males cited by Stephen collected in El Mayor in April 1939 ( CASC). See fig. 157 .
