Melissodes (Melissodes) gilensis Cockerell, 1896 View in CoL

[Syntypes: SEMC, USNM; ♀ Gila River, New Mexico, USA; August 12 and 16] Melissodes gilensis is distributed in Mexico and the southern USA. TAMU reports one preserved specimen record collected in the Magdalena Plains in Ciudad Constitución in June 1973 ( GBIF 2023). The CARCIB team collected M. gilensis again in the Magdalena Plains in November 2016 and November 2017. See fig. 110.
