The distribution of Xenoglossa angustior primarily encompasses the SD and the Madrean Archipelago. Notably, it has been documented in BC approximately 41 km SE of Mexicali ( Hurd & Linsley 1964). This species specializes on the pollen from squash plants in the genus Cucurbita L. ( Hurd & Linsley 1964). See fig. 120.
