3. Burara gomata gomata (Moore, 1866) new subspecies record to China
Bibasis gomata: Wang 1994a: 17 (Nanning) View in CoL ; Liu & Jiang 2003: 164 (Yuanbaoshan).
Burara gomata: Wang & Tang 2012: 51 (Mao’ershan).
Material examined. 1♂, Lianhuashan, Jinxiu, 19.V.2015, Songyun Lang leg. ( ZULI). Distribution in Guangxi. Nanning , Rongshui (Yuanbaoshan), Xing’an (Mao’ershan), Jinxiu. Note. Previously, 2 subspecies of Burara gomata have been recorded in China, viz. B. gomata lara (Leech,
1894) and B. gomata lalita (Fruhstorfer, 1911) ( Chiba 2009: 11) . Judging from the known distribution ranges and
diagnostic characters of all the 7 subspecies ( Chiba 2009: 11), the population in Guangxi is recognized as the
nominate subspecies.
