Choaspes furcata: Wang & Tang 2012: 51 View in CoL (Mao’ershan).
Material examined. 2♂♂, Nonggang, Longzhou, 1–2.V.2015, Guoxi Xue leg.; 1♂, Lianhuashan, Jinxiu, 19.V.2015, Songyun Lang leg. (ZULI).
Distribution in Guangxi. Xing’an (Mao’ershan), Longzhou, Jinxiu.
Note. This subspecies is often treated as a full species ( Osada et al. 1999: pl. 132, Noriyuki et al. 2009: 19, Wang & Tang 2012: 51). But according to Chiba (2009: 42), the male genitalia of furcatus are “almost identical to other subspecies especially to that of the nominotypical hemixanthus .” So we follow the treatment of Chiba (2009: 42) herein.
