The species was previously recorded in Fergana Valley and South Tajikistan as a doubtful taxon Pleuroxus similis Vavra, 1900 ( Khaitov 1978; Mukhamediev 1986, fig. 23). Pleuroxus quasidenticulatus is a cosmopolitan species occurring in Iraq, Middle East and South East Asia, Australia ( Ji et al. 2015; Korovchinsky & Kotov 2021). In this study, P. quasidenticulatus was observed in a channel in Navobod, Khatlon Region (loc. 9). For a detailed description of P. quasidenticulatus , see Sinev & Sanoamuang (2013).
