Diagnosis. Antennal flagellum filiform, slender, brownish black or black ( Fig. 51 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Malar space short, about half as long as basal mandibular width ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Head and mesosoma evenly granulate, dull, impunctate ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Mesopleuron with very short and thin foveate groove ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Propodeum usually with narrow basal area which is often indistinct because of longitudinal wrinkles ( Fig. 53 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Metacarpus almost reaching tip of the fore wing ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 50–54 ). First metasomal tergite very slender, laterally smooth ( Fig. 52 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Second tergite about as long as anteriorly broad. Metasoma dark brown ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 50–54 ). Ovipositor short, robust, with weak dorsal subapical depression and more or less distinct rounded teeth before and behind this depression, with fine teeth ventrally ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 50–54 ).
Distribution. Russian Far East; in Japan known from Hokkaido, Honshu and Shikoku islands.
Biology. One female from Sapporo was collected around nest of Lasius (Dendrolasius) nipponensis Forel ( Hymenoptera : Formicidae ).
